China is changing - fast!
Demand for packaging and processing machinery in China is forecast to continue to grow beyond 2014, driven particularly by growth in the processed and packaged food & beverage, pharmaceutical and personal care product markets. Government focus on domestic market stimulus has raised consumer spending to new highs, which is driving packaging demand to above 12% annual growth levels.

Food Safety
- Improved food safety, increased shelf life and more attractive packaging are sought by increasingly affluent and demanding consumers. Recent government clampdowns have seen (between April and August 2011) 5.9 million food & beverage manufacturers having been inspected resulting in 2000 arrests and 4900 businesses closed down for breaching food safety legislation.
Automation & Robotics
