Novelties on the mining industry market

31 January 2012 - 977 views

GLEISDORF - For the market of industrial minerals, ores and gemstones arise completely new possibilities. BT-Wolfgang Binder GmbH developed the REDWAVE-Multisensor which recognizes both color and material in only one sorting process.

Furthermore the first and effective working width of 2.000mm is used in the mining industry.

In a few weeks an European company is going to work with the 2.000mm working width. These machines are working with a high-resolution camera technology with the corresponding LED lighting, background technique and an effective working width of 2.000 mm. Limestone with a grain size of 25-60mm and a 60-150mm will be sorted by a high throughput. Impurities like silica, ferrous and manganiferous stones will be separated.

The REDWAVE machine technology is designed for grain sizes up to a diameter of 150 mm and throughputs of 150 t/h. The sorting system for industrial minerals is used within the sector of limestone, quartz, magnesite, talc, etc.

REDWAVE installed in a plant

REDWAVE XRF: This new system is for minerals and ores and it’s quick, contact less and can also be reliably used in most cases on wet, dirty or coated materials. The REDWAVE sorting systems have been developed for high throughputs, element identification and flexibility.  The applications have successfully been implemented within the sectors of ores and industrial minerals, such as: Manganese, Willemite, Borate, Quartz, Lead and Zinc, Iron ore, etc.

REDWAVE, a trademark of BT-Wolfgang Binder GmbH, offers the complete scope of services from process technology, engineering to manufacturing from one source. Sorting systems in container systems and integrated in the process flow.
