BECKUM - The BEUMER stretch hood M is used successfully in the brick industry and represents the state of the art in pallet packaging.
Featuring class-leading control technology, modular design, and optimised packaging film handling, this stretch hooding system offers a variety of options across a broad range of pallet packaging challenges and requirements. Compared to other high-capacity packaging systems, it offers many compelling advantages.
In the majority of industrial and consumer product applications, the stretch hood method offers the best possible protection for pallet loads.
This includes water-tight pallet packaging on five sides by horizontal tension, providing unmatched load stability and helping to protect the value of products throughout the supply chain.
The film hood is pulled over the pallet stack so that both load carrier and bag stack form a stable unit. This way the palletised bricks are efficiently protected against weather, dust and moisture.
Packaging palletised bricks with the BEUMER stretch hood M is quick, safe and secure. In addition, this system accommodates a large variety of packaging film thicknesses. Compared to other systems the BEUMER stretch hood M is also characterised by more flexible handling of different pallets and film formats.
And, with low specific energy and compressed-air consumption as well as compatibility with recyclable packaging films, this system is a cost-effective and environmentally sustainable approach to pallet packaging.
