Stelter & Brinck celebrates 90 years!

03 April 2012 - 858 views

HARRISON, OH - Stelter & Brinck began in 1922, as a manufacturer’s representative selling the first burners and combustion components to industry.

Over the years, S&B built a reputation for excellence in engineering, quality products, and service. This led their many customers to rely on them not only for their engineering expertise and combustion parts, but also for sub-assemblies. Thus began S&B's transformation from representative agency to equipment manufacturer.

By the early 1980’s, Stelter & Brinck began designing and building larger, more complex equipment than their original sub-assemblies. While S&B still provided parts, it was in the 1990’s that S&B introduced combustion field services.

Today, S&B’s process heat repertoire has grown to include, but is not limited to:

  • Indirect Fired Air Heaters
  • Direct Fired Air Heaters
  • Thermal & Catalytic Oxidizers, Afterburners
  • Integrated Packaged Process Systems
  • Ladle and Tundish Dryers and Preheaters, and Scrap Preheaters
  • Aluminum Sow Dryers, Crucible Ovens and Furnaces
  • Specialty Ovens and Furnaces
  • In-House Equipment Test-Firing
  • Combustion Field Services and Parts for Industrial Burners

Stelter & Brinck currently has thousands of units world-wide, present in numerous industries. The company is constantly improving upon their equipment and services, implementing the most current technologies, and always looking for new opportunities in the process heating industry.

While S&B has changed significantly throughout their first 90 years, they have always held true to the company motto: Treat the Customer as You Would Be Treated. Stelter & Brinck is proud of their past, grounded in honesty and fairness, and is looking forward to upholding these values throughout the next 90 years and beyond!
