Parsum GmbH was founded in 1997. The company has developed a new, patented measuring principle for Particle size and velocity known as Fiberoptical Spatial Filtering Technology (SFT or SFV). Parsum products are process devices for industrial use that require minimal installation effort and are easy to integrate in processes and facilities. Parsum has become one of the leading providers for particle sizing technology for fluid bed and granulation applications.
The Parsum probes have no adjustable mechanical parts and systems require no optical calibration. With a measurement range from 50 to 6000µm, they are able to cover the typical size range of most granulation processes. They can measure directly the PSD inside a fluid bed as well as in High-shear-granulators and many other processes.
